Final Main Wild Cards...

Scott Oudsema and Alex Kuznetsov

We've got another good bit of young talent coming our way.

Scott Oudsema of Kalamazoo, MI in his first year of turning pro last year reached a Futures final and a couple of Challenger quarterfinals. A couple of weeks ago, Scott advanced to the 2nd round of the Los Angeles ATP event, taking Andy Roddick to 3 sets before bowing out. Scott excelled in juniors doubles, with a 31-2 record (w/ Evans) and recording 5 titles including 3 junior Grand Slams (Australian, Wimbledon, US Open).

Alex Kuznetsov of Richboro, PA (Philly) turned pro in 2004, but suffered a broken leg in an accident in May 2005 and was out for 4 months. Alex reached the #1 ranking in junior world rankings (16s and 18s) where he made the final of the '04 French Open and won the '03 Easter Bowl. Alex has reached 3 Futures semifinals, and 4 Challenger quarterfinals including his first Challenger title 3 weeks ago in Aptos, since he has returned from that leg injury. Alex is at a career high ranking of #277.
